The school Sant Jordi is a nursery and public primary shool run by the Teaching Department Baix Ebre. We define ourselves as a Catalan School, democratic, secular, inclusive and innovative coeducator which aims to contribute and promote to the development of students into people able to solve problems, responsible for their learning, respectful of themselves, and to others, with environmental and self defense awareness, to cope every day as people and as professionals with good habits, able to establish their own views and to be critical, thoughtful, honest, participate in the society in which they live and to be aware that the effort will pay off. As such, we think it very important to first, involve families in the education of their children and the establishment of joint actions of families and teachers and, on the other hand, the involvement and cooperation of the educational community in the daily life and running of the center.
